I am building a smoker for low slow smoking food. I intend to use LPG Gas burner as the cooking / heating element.
Is there a device available that would monitor the actual internal temp of the smoker (Via a probe) and the Temperature of the product being cooked and then keep the burner within the set cooking range or range, shut down the burner when product temp reaches a pre set temp or time.
Preferably digitally controlled.
For electric burner systems there are devices for this which are relatively common.
Thanks

How is the heat in your smoker generated?
